ADPi's Make a Difference
Ronald McDonald House Charities became the international philanthropy of Alpha Delta Pi in 1979. Since then, Alpha Delta Pi has contributed more than $2 million to the Charity, which supports Ronald McDonald Houses and funds grants to other non-profit organizations that focus on helping children in need. Alpha Delta Pi collegiates and alumnae volunteer their time and donate money to their local Ronald McDonald House. Each semester we plan a trip to a local Ronald McDonald House and hold a Bingo Night for the families. It is a fun way for them to spend an evening and get their mind off their troubles for a few hours. In addition to our trips to Ronald McDonald House, we have our annual ADPi Casino Night in the spring. This occasion provides an opportunity to have fun while raising money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The event, which includes a silent auction and gaming tables, raises over $2800.00.
We also enjoy participating in Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life and numerous other philanthropic activities.
